The report “Internet of Children” shows that more than half of children aged 7–12 use social media platforms intended for older users, and one in three is exposed to pornographic content. Among children aged 7–14, as many as 85% use the internet, mainly via mobile devices, spending several hours a day on social media and streaming platforms. The most popular app is TikTok, where children spend the most time, often exceeding two hours daily. The report’s findings are alarming and highlight the urgent need for stronger measures to protect children online.
